Haus of Horror – Event Terms & Conditions

General
By purchasing a ticket or attending a Haus of Horror event, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all ticket holders and attendees and are designed to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

1. Tickets & Refunds

  • All ticket sales are final. Haus of Horror events are rain or shine, and no refunds or exchanges will be issued unless the event is officially cancelled.

  • If weather conditions, venue safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances make the event unsafe or unable to proceed, it may be moved to a later date.

  • Your ticket will automatically transfer to the new date. No refunds will be issued if the event is moved.

  • Tickets purchased through unauthorised resellers or third-party sites are void and non-refundable.

  • Tickets are non-transferable between sessions. You must attend the session that matches your ticket. No admission will be granted for the incorrect session.

2. Entry

  • Admission is by valid ticket only. Each ticket allows one scan per entry and cannot be reused, shared, or duplicated.

  • Entry may be refused if a ticket is damaged, duplicated, or appears fraudulent.

  • Haus of Horror reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee behaving inappropriately, intoxicated, or posing a safety or security risk.

  • Pass-outs are not permitted.

3. Age Restrictions

  • The 4:00pm session is an all-ages event, however any patrons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. This condition aligns with NSW Liquor & Gaming regulations governing licensed events.

  • The 6:40pm session is strictly 18+. Entry will be refused to anyone under 18 years of age, regardless of parental or adult supervision. Valid photo identification may be required upon entry.

4. Conduct & Safety

  • All attendees must comply with instructions from event staff and security.

  • Intoxication, aggressive behaviour, or actions that endanger others or the venue will result in removal without refund.

  • Attendees participate at their own risk. Haus of Horror, its staff, contractors, and venue partners are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property except where required by law.

5. Seating & Equipment

  • Attendees may bring blankets, pillows, or low chairs that rest directly on the ground.

  • Tall chairs are not permitted.

  • Chair height limits are 50cm from seat to top of chair

  • Please be considerate of those seated behind you.

6. Food, Drink & Smoking

  • A licensed bar will be in operation during the event.

  • No outside alcohol or glass is permitted.

  • Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited within the cemetery grounds.

7. Accessibility

  • The venue includes uneven ground typical of historic cemeteries.

  • Accessible entry is available via the Church Street gate.

8. Environment & Heritage

  • Camperdown Cemetery is a heritage-listed site.

  • Attendees must treat the grounds, monuments, and trees with respect.

  • Littering, vandalism, or interference with graves or structures will result in removal and may be reported to authorities.

  • Please take all belongings and rubbish with you, Haus of Horror is a low-waste company.

9. Photography & Filming

  • The event may be photographed or filmed for promotional use by Haus of Horror and its partners.

  • By entering, you consent to the use of your image in marketing materials, social media, and future event promotions.
